Sector 2 Lieutenant's Message

I am Lieutenant Timothy Schultz.  Welcome to the Sector 2 portion of the Walnut Creek Police Department's Web Site.   The northwest area of the city is designated as “Sector 2.”  It encompasses a diverse area that includes most of the downtown core, as well as many of our local financial centers, and a wide variety of residential areas.

From a policing standpoint, Sector 2 is diverse. The downtown area is home to many restaurants, bars and retail stores. Further northwest is the Lindsay Museum, Larkey Park, and the Larkey Park Swim Center. Sector 2 includes most of the commercial high-rises in the City, as well as a diverse group of residential neighborhoods, ranging from quiet, older country homes to newer custom homes.
